Unfortunately, if you’re researching hardwood floors…

As a homeowner there’s not one unified source that you can refer to for refinishing or maintenance knowledge. You either get the YouTube academy, or the sales pitch from a contractor or a manufacturer… The NWFA is a step in the right direction, but no one is legally compelled to follow their guidelines, let alone read them, and if you don’t follow the lingo or operate the machinery yourself it’s not always relevant to what a homeowner would be researching.

I’m here to help bridge that gap. Yes, I am a flooring contractor. But I don’t believe in selling services to homeowners that they don’t need, that’s the backbone of my company’s mission.

I’ve put together a few articles to help the owner of a hardwood floor while they’re doing their research. Some of these articles may reveal to you that our services are not right for your floor, and that’s OK. I would much rather steer you in the right direction than dishonor you by trying to “make a sale”. Period.
