Why We Test First
Before any finish is applied to the floor, an on-site adhesion test is required. This is to help protect you from finish failure due to contamination.
Being positive for acrylic finish does not disqualify you from our service, but it will result in additional labor and materials
Deep Cleaning
After wax and acrylic removal, we deep scrub the entire floor area with commercial-grade machines and specialized cleaners. This strips out built-up residue, contaminants, and old cleaning products that household cleaners can’t touch.
Preparation & Priming
Depending on your floor’s existing finish, we either buff the floor with light abrasives, apply 2K Contact primer, or both. This step opens up, and softens existing finish, and helps to ensure chemical and mechanical bonding of the topcoat.
Professional Coating
We apply two coats of Loba 2k Duo, which is built to last. Optional stain correction is available if you want to reduce blemish appearance or shift the color tone of your floor slightly. Post-coat inspection and touch-up as needed
